Greetings PS 149 family. My name is Mr. McMichael, and I am the new Community School Director at PS 149. To those of you who I have already met, thank you for accepting me into your community. For those I have not met yet, I do look forward to meeting you and earning your trust. In addition to ensuring that each student’s family is connected to the community resources that they need when they need it, I am also dedicated to the staff’s pursuit of a supportive and nurturing school environment capable of ensuring that every child realizes their own potential. As the adage goes, ‘It takes a village to raise a child.’ I am excited to be a part of this village and to partner with you to raise a community.
